Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Colombo / Transfer to Negombo – 30 minutes / Overnight in Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Negombo. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring Negombo Lagoon and local fish markets. Enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 02 - Transfer to Yala – 5–6 hours / Evening Safari / Overnight in Yala

Drive to Yala National Park (approx. 5–6 hours). Arrive in time for an evening safari to spot elephants, leopards, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Overnight stay near Yala.

Day 03 - Yala – Full-Day Safari / Overnight in Yala

Enjoy a full-day guided safari, exploring different zones of Yala National Park for maximum wildlife sightings. Afternoon free to relax at your lodge. Overnight stay near Yala.

Day 04 - Transfer to Mirissa – 4 hours / Whale Watching / Overnight in Mirissa

Drive to Mirissa (approx. 4 hours). Join a sunrise whale watching tour, spotting blue whales, sperm whales, and dolphins. Afternoon free for leisure on the golden sands. Overnight stay in Mirissa.

Day 5 - Transfer to Galle – 1 hour / Explore Galle Fort / Overnight in Galle

Short drive to Galle (approx. 1 hour). Explore UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, including colonial architecture, ramparts, lighthouses, and artisan shops. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 06 - Transfer to Bentota – 2 hours / Madu Ganga River Safari / Overnight in Bentota

Drive to Bentota (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy a Madu Ganga river safari, exploring mangroves, cinnamon islands, and riverside temples. Afternoon free for beach relaxation or optional water sports. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 07 - Bentota – Leisure & Optional Activities / Overnight in Bentota

Spend a full day at leisure on Bentota’s golden beaches. Optional activities include turtle hatchery visits, jet skiing, or village tours. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 08 - Transfer to Colombo – 2 hours / City Exploration / Overnight in Colombo

After breakfast, drive to Colombo (approx. 2 hours). Explore highlights such as Galle Face Green, Pettah Market, and Gangaramaya Temple. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 09 - Departure from Colombo

After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight, concluding a compact yet immersive journey through Sri Lanka’s southern beaches, wildlife, and cultural gems.
